„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
They were hungry for success
Our U20 team achieved a ten-goal victory in the NB I/ B adult championship.
Our young team did not expect an easy match against Szentendre NKE. As is well known, since the beginning of November, the girls have not been able to play any matches in the NB I/B. Unfortunately, our youngsters were without a win so far among the adults, moreover, István Kovács, coach, has only recently taken over the management of the team. He hoped that the team would start a good series against the current opponent.
DKKA started the match really well, the opponent's coach was forced in the 5th minute to call a timeout. After 24 mins the difference grew to ten goals thanks to some spectacular attack, stable defending and the saves of our brilliant goalkeeper, Dorina Bartók, who just turned 16. The second half begun well for us too, Neszta Fodor, Eszter Pál and Krisztina Kovács were responsible for leading the team and hit the net after the attacks. In the second part of the 30 mins, both teams got visibly tired, but our girls did not let the opponent closer and won the game with a final score of 32-22! Big congratulations!
