„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
Viborg could cheer after today's game
The good starts of both halves were in vain. The Danish team left the court victorious after the first match of Kohász Cup.
The two teams met in Viborg not long ago that ended with a two goal Kohász victory (23-21), this time we hosted the bronze medalist of the Danish league.
We started the game well, led by 3-0 after 5 minutes and then 6-3 in the 10th minute, but at later stage of the half our attacking play lacked creativity and stiking effect. The opponent got closer and closer and got the lead in the 25th minute for the first time in the match (9-10). Although Kazai quickly levelled the score before the halftime
A flying start again by Kohász after the 10 minute-long break, as we had a 4-0 run. But just like in the first half after 10 minutes another bad-patch came, that resulted a 4-0 run for Viborg and they took the lead once again in the 44th minute (16-17). We fought well but finishing simply did not work well. This resulted a two goal defeat at the end with a final score of 20-22. The Kohász Cup continues with a match between Viborg and Budaörs in the capital city. We play against Budaörs at home on the day after tomorrow, throw-off time 4 pm.
László György: - I expected such a close game, but with so many errors in attach it is impossible to win. We need to work on this hard before the start of the season.
