The new season is here

The season 2018/2019 starts with an away game versus Vác on Saturday from 6 p.m. Not an easy math, the opponent finished 6th last year.

György László: - Their squad has not weaken, still they have 4 experienced international players and the rest of the team is built around them, extended by talented young players. Agressive defending, one and one attacking style they use, their wingers are also dangerous. Worth to mention that their Brazilian goalkeeper, Barbara Arenhart belongs to the best players of her position in the world. Among the younger players Kácsor Gréta's strikes could be a real threat for us. But we are prepared and motivated, my team needs to stay focused to get the job done. I think the outcome of the match will depend on the amount of mistakes. Whichever team commits less, can win the game. One thing I can promise, we cannot complain about motivation and eagerness of my team.

Szalai Babett: - We prepared well, just like we do usually. I expect - and this is the request of our coach as well - to play without any pressure. Nothing to lose, nothing to fear, just as we discussed it during the week. During the summer we practiced a lot with different lineups, of course still some time is necessary, but I truly believe that the players we currently have can get the job done, we could do what the coach requests from us. We worked during the summer to have enough chance to get a nice result on the first game of the season against Vác, it is in our hand...
