Bad ten minutes decided it all
In the second half the girls could not continue the first period's bravery, this resulted a 29-24 defeat in Érd.
Our opponent was Érd who were in the 4th place in the league table before the match. Beside quite a few injured players announced earlier this time we could not count with Szalai Babett, captain of our team who suffered a bad injury against Mosonmagyaróvár. The hosts were the favourites of this clash, our aim was to play without any pressure.
Érd scored first, and at this stage of the game we did not expet that it was the last time they had the lead in the first half. Szekerczés scored two goals to level up the game and then Molnár found her way through the defense. After 9 minutes Kohász was leading by two (3-5). It took just another 3 minutes for Érd to equalize again (6-6). We managed to get the upper hand all the time, but the home team always had a comeback. Our situation worsened in the 18th minute when Monori Orsolya suffered an seemingly serious injury on her ankle. At 11-11 György László called his timeout to re-group the team. Grosch and Szekerczés hit the net that forced the home coach to invite hers to the sideline. Both substitute goalies, Vártok Ramóna and Julie Foggea showed some saves, there was only one home goal until the end of the half (13-14).
It was a question, how long the short-benched Kohász can keep up the pace and the focus against a much stronger team. Unfortunately the difference became truly visible. Foggea started to produce nice saves and DKKA missed their chances in the front. Érd was on fire and used their opportunities. 5 minutes after the break our coach called a timeout again (17-15). It did not help, as the hosts had another 3-0 run and after the suspensions of Nick and Bouti in the 42nd minute the fate of the two points was decided (23-16). Kohász fought well and managed to come closer to its opponent, thanks to Mihály, Kazai and Bouti the gap decreased to only 4 goals, but this was all that our team, that was missing out on so many injured players could do tonight. Érd won the match with a final score of 29-24.

Danish triumph at the arena today
2017. Nov. 18.After a one-goal defeat in Denmark we have lost our home game as well against Koebenhavn, that means that DKKA has been eliminated from the EHF Cup.
Only one goal down
2017. Nov. 11.A nice performance from the team, they had the lead most of the time throughout the game, but in the last minutes the Danish team was more precise at finishing.

2017. Nov. 08.During the first half there were some problems with the defending, but after the halftime the team took a jump start. With this victory the team got qualified to the fourth round of Hungarian Cup.
Csapó Kyra has joined Metz
2017. Oct. 28.Our young goalkeeper who were trained here at the Academy will play the rest of the season in France at the team of Metz that has not lost so far any points neither in the league nor in the Champions League this season.
