„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
Without goals...
In offense nothing seemed to work against Szombathey and this led to a clear defeat.
We needed to play in Répcelak as Szombathely also could not host us in their arena. Looking at the league table we expected a win against the team of Marosán György.
The first ten minutes brought a close game, first we got the lead, then after two Tomasevic saves the opponent was ahead. They tried to attack with empty net, but after several mistakes in attack they reconsidered their strategy (4-6). Thanks to the excellent former DKKA keeper, Szombathely could equalize, but could not turn the score as Szalai and Szekerczés hit the net on the other side. (8-10). A timeout and a suspension from our side helped the hosts, who did a 4-0 run in 10 minutes.
We needed to improve in attackin order to get something from this match, but the game did not change much compared to the second part of the firts one. SZKKA seemed much more energic and enthusiastic on the pitch (14-11). The opponent used our mistakes well, and although György László called a timeout in the 43rd minute, Szombathely was already leading by 6. (20-14) Our team could not bring new elements to the game, failed to improve which lead to a clear defeat to an unexpected one.
