Statement on financial measurements
The management of our Academy issued the following statement about the arrangements necessary to be taken at DKKA due to the corona virus epidemic.
The special case resulted by the corona virus, also the measurements that both the Hungarian Government and the Hungarian Handball Association (MKSZ) took previously, left no choice for DKKA Nonprofit Kft, and after thorougly measuring the available options they had to take some unpleasant decisions concerning the months April, May and June, 2020. When making these decisions our goal was to maintain the operation of the club in the next period by using the available funds rationally and economically in order to be able to retain the employees and to prepare for the future resumption.
We would like to thank all our dear employees who, in view of the circumstances, undertook to amend the contracts by mutual agreement in the interests of our future, and thus to reduce the salary by 50 percent. Only four of our employees did not accept the proposed change, their contract was terminated by the club. Hereby we would also like to thank for their work so far and we wish them many more successes!
We hope that in a few months time the work can start again and the preparation for the 2020/2021 season can begin. According to our plans, taking advantage of our opportunities in the future, we can start brand new times in the life of the Dunaújvárosi Kohász Handball Academy, which will bring a lot of joy for us and for our supporters in the first place!
With kind regards to all sport friends;
Gábor Mátyás - Executive Director of DKKA
