„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
A nice win finally!
Leading the way, the adult team of our Academy won smoothly against Békéscsaba.
A very important clash awaited our adult team in the league, as the pupils of Attila Vágó hosted Békéscsaba in the sports hall of Dunaújváros from five o'clock this afternoon. The opponent was last on the league table without any points before the game, yet our head coach didn’t expect an easy match against an opponent fighting the relegation, but of course he was confident that his team would manage to keep the very important league points at home.
The start went well for ours despite the fact that the first goal was scored by the guests, our handball players responded with three hits in a row. The opponent was able to keep their one-two-goal disadvantage in the first five minutes, but after they spoiled two attacks one after the other then they immediately received two quick goals, in the 7th minute Békéscsaba coach, Gergő Vida had to call a timeout (7-3). However, this did not break our momentum, Szlaai, Bulath, Kazai and Barján also scored, so we didn't even go in the 18th minute, when the guests had to interrupt the game again (15-8). Thanks to Dabevska and Kazai, we further increased our lead. After a short period with ups and downs in the Kohász game, Attila Vágó also managed to stabilize the performance so our team scored another easy goal in the first half, which practically decided the outcome of the match. (23 14).
A fordulást követően Bulath átlövésével először volt tíz közte, de a Békéscsaba ekkor sem adta fel, s egymás után lőtt három góllal kényszerítette újabb időkérésre a házigazdák szakvezetését (24-17). Szerencsére sikerült is kihúznia magát a kisebb gödörből együttesünknek, mely Ferenczy duplájával nyugtatta meg a Kohászért szurkolókat, s mikor a 39. percben Fodor Neszta is betalált, ismét tízzel vezetett a DKKA. (28-18).
After the turn, Bulath's shot resulted a ten-goal-difference for the first time, but Békéscsaba did not give it up either, and came back to the game by a 3-0 run, forcing the DKKA's coach to call a break (24-17). Luckily, our team managed to come out from the slump, a double from Ferenczy pleased the Kohász fans, then Neszta Fodor also scored in the 39th minute, which meant that DKKA led again by ten (28-18). From this time on, there was no way back for Békéscsaba, because in spite of their enthisiasm in attack, there was always someone on the other side who responded to their hits. Thus, the difference between the two teams did not decrease, it was even able to grow further, and our team gained a joyful, 41-28 victory and they put the guests in an even more hopeless situation.
