„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
This time Loki won
Our team committed lots of annoying mistakes and suffered an unexpected large defeat.
DKKA travelled to Debrecen for a red-white clash. The two teams played a quite close game in the autumn, so our head coach, Attila Vágó (who has a birthday today) was hoping for points that the team can take home after today's match.
The girls started the match well, they were up with one-two goals at the beginning of the half with the lead of Anita Bulath. The home team chased us well, they finally equalized at 7-7 and could even turn the score with a 4-0 run. After almost 10 minutes without DKKA goals, finally Dabevska hit the net, but even though playing 7 vs 6 in attack, we made a lots of errors. In the 24th minute Attila Vágó called his second timeout to communicate the tactics that he wanted to see on the court. Loki was leading by 6 at this time, luckily ours could come closer before the break. 17-13 stayed on the scoreboard at halftime.
The second half was started once again much better by our team, Debrecen was just leading by two. Unfortunately we could not come closer, Attila Vágo was foced to use his last opportunity to talk with the team as DVSC managed to score each time after our turnovers and quickly got away by 6 goals. DKKA scored two after the short break, but the home team used all the mistakes that we committed. In the final period of the game they could even increase their lead, and at the end Debrecen gained a nine-goal-victory and kept the points home.
