„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
Further players to stay
Gréta Horváth, Beatrix Krupják-Molnár and Viktória Nick also extended their contracts with the adult team of our Academy.
After the professional staff and then the key players extended their contracts with us, we can once again report good news related to the team. The management of DKKA also agreed with Viktória Nick, Gréta Horváth and Beatrix Krupják-Molnár to continue their careers in Dunaújváros. Beatrix Krupják-Molnár joined us eight years ago, while Nick Viktória is our player since 2015,ó. Although Gréta Horváth signed a contract with Kohász just last year, she completely agreed with her fellow players about the fact that she loves not just the team, but the city as well, so they are all happy to extend their contracts.
Viktória Nick: – I had to make up my mind about to stay or move on, I have been thinking a lot about it, but in the end I decided to stay because it was already a familiar environment for me. I like being here, the community is good, the team is good, I feel comfortable here. I have improved a lot in the last six years, I also get a lot of playing opportunities in every match, and my goal for next season is to develop even further.
Gréta Horváth: – It feels good to be here, I fell in love with the city, I'm happy for being close to my family, This opportunity means a lot to me, as well as the fact that last year I was able to join a team that has such a fruitful history. My aim for this season was to develop in my own position, so I could regularly get into the matchday squad, to gain as much experience as I can in the Hungarian first league. I'm really happy to be able to stay because changing teams each year is not my intention. I like to be able to get higher and higher with the same team and have a lot of success together. I still have it in my head what are the things that I need to improve about myself, for example speed and technique.
Krupják-Molnár Beatrix: – Luckily we managed to reach an agreement once again, so I can start my ninth season in Dunaújváros. In recent years, the head coaches counted me on the wings, but this year I was able to show myself more in my original position as a centre-back, and my goal was clearly to show that I do well there, on the other hand it was important for me to work with the U12 children as a coach to be able to develop constantly with them together. I started my career as a coach last year, at first I was pretty concerned, I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to reconcile with being a player too, but I managed to do it. The kids motivate me both on and off the court, so I’m really happy to be able to do the two together. I love permanence, my husband is also local, our plans are to settle here, so I clearly wanted to stay.
