The final win is really close

Kozármisleny fought well in the first leg of the League Cup final, but in the second half, better and more accurate visitors made a big move towards winning the series with a confident 35-25 victory.
Two days after the the league season finished with the game against Érd, another task awaited the adult team of our academy. They travelled to Kozármisleny, to the first match of the League Cup final.
Our team tried to keep the flawless statistics while the hosts tried to surprise Kohász, and although ours scored three of the first four goals, the team of Baranya county took their idea seriously and caught up with our handball players by the 8th minute (3-3). The second part of the half also brought a big battle, in which the home team did let the visitors to get away, in the 13th minute they were able to take the lead (6-5). Our team quickly pulled themselves together, and they turned the score with the hits of Kazai, Barján and Krupják-Molnár, but they could not increase the difference the hosths fought well. The teams went into the dressing rooms for the break while 14-15 stayed on the scoreboard.
After switching sides DKKA increased the pace of the game, scored four goals in a few moments (15-19), and although our future player, Tímea Polics tried to keep it up with ours, the opponent's coach had to call a timeout after the hits of Román, Szalai, Bulath and Schatzl in the 42nd minute (18-26).
After the short break, the Kozármisleny managed to organize its ranks and came closer thanks to two failed attacks of the Dunaújváros side, so in the 48th minute Attila Vágó invited his players to the sideline (22-28). The six-seven-goal difference between the two teams stabilized, but then asthe final whistle was drawing near, our team increased their advantage again with the hits of Husti, Krupják-Molnár and Fodor. We finally took the lead in the duel smoothly, by winning 35-25, and this means that on Sunday afternoon DKKA can win the League Cup in a home environment.

2017. Nov. 19.Our photo crew has been trying to do their best to immortalize the best moments of DKKA's home games. This time they got a nice present for their persistent work, they could attend to the weekend match of men's handball team, Pick Szeged against the spanish record champion, Barcelona. Of course they needed to watch the game through the objective. The guests of Dunaújváros were nice guests at least they brought some luck, as the home team could defeat the Spaniards for the first time ever since 2008, and this means, they are still in a good position in the group 'A' of EHF Champions League.
