An unexpected huge defeat

The adult team of our academy suffered a massive, 33-23 defeat in the Hungarian championship against Vác, playing very nervously with many mistakes.
With two victories behind them the league continued for DKKA with a home match against Vác, a difficult battle awaited us against the guests of great strength.
Our handball players started the match well, they got the lead quickly with two goals from Anath Bulath, although they couldn't be happy about it for too long, because Weisheitel gathered two suspensions within a matter of seconds. The visitors equalized and got the lead when Attila Vágó asked a timeout in the 10th minute (2-4). Unfortunately, the short break didn't bring the desired effect, despite Bulath scoring another goal, there were a lot of mistakes in our attack and defense, so in the 13th minute Vác already led to 7-3. Thanks to Bulath's fourth and fifth, and then Mrmolja's first hit Kohász got back to the game, but the guests had an answer. In the 21st minute they were ahead by four goals (8-12). The team didn't really find their game in the middle of the half either, the home supportes could be sad due to balls given away and missed situations, so there was plenty to discuss during the break, at 11-16.
Although DKKA scored the first goal of the second half, unfortunately neither the offensive game nor the defense changed significantly compared to the first one, and this was relentlessly used by the Vác team, which certainly kept its five-six-goal advantage, In the 42nd minute the difference grew to eight. (14-22). There was another try by the home coach to make some change, but it didn't help either, because for Kohász simply nothing worked in this match, The guests further increased their advantage, and in the end they took the points from Dunaújváros with a smooth 33-23 success.

2017. Nov. 19.Our photo crew has been trying to do their best to immortalize the best moments of DKKA's home games. This time they got a nice present for their persistent work, they could attend to the weekend match of men's handball team, Pick Szeged against the spanish record champion, Barcelona. Of course they needed to watch the game through the objective. The guests of Dunaújváros were nice guests at least they brought some luck, as the home team could defeat the Spaniards for the first time ever since 2008, and this means, they are still in a good position in the group 'A' of EHF Champions League.
