„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
All the players got a chance
The adult ensemble of our academy played a close match with Mosonmagyaróvár with some youth players in the squad.
The adult ensemble of our academy continued its series of friendly matches against Mosonmagyaróvár from four o'clock this afternoon. Attila Vágó's team still lacked the presence of Tímea Polics, Dominika Mrmolja, Jana Šustková and Gréta Horváth, while Johanna Farkas competed against Érd with the junior national team and Anita Bulath undertook only to execute penalties.
The guests started a little better, they could enjoy a 5-2 advantage in the 7th minute, but our handball players got more agile in defending and became more accurate in the attack, so they reduced their disadvantage to one goal as they approached the waist (7-8). In the sequel, the match brought a completely balanced battle, our handball players equalized in the 24th minute, then took the lead, and kept their minimum advantage until the break, they were able to take a 17-16 half-time break.
After switching sides, Attila Vágó further rejuvenated his team, so two more youth players, Kincső Sztanó and Alexandra Agócs could get a chance. Until the middle of the second stage, the teams were neck in neck, sometime ours were ahead, sometimes the opponent by a single hit, then after Hlogyik's saves and goal, the scoreboard showed a 28-26 home lead in the 47th minute. In the final stage, unfortunately, the academics did not use their clean chances well, and although they still had a chance to draw, in the end, guests who scored two goals in the last minute could come off the field with a success of 32-29.
