We're into the next round in the Hugarian Cup

Fighting huge for sixty minutes, but playing extremely tactically, our team got qualified into the best eight teams in the Hungarian Cup against MTK.

The adult team of our Academy entered the court in the fourth round of the Hungarian Cup from five o'clock this afternoon against MTK, and although we still had some missing ones, we were able to start the match with a much bigger player frame.

The visitors started the match better but ours kept the pressure From the guests, Kekezovity, while from our side, Bulath, was at the forefront of scoring, while Attila Vágó tried to balance the stamina of his players, more and more people had the opportunity to prove themselves. Although we managed to catch up with the opponent at 6-6, MTK was successful three times in a row. Atilla Vágo called a timeout. After a short break, we got closer, and in the 24th minute we levelled the game once again (11-11). Fortunately, our handball players kept up the momentum, Borgyos and Matucza scored from the guests, and although MTK kept up, the parties were able to march for the halftime with a 14-13 home lead.

Although many feared we could run out of breath in the second half, DKKA started the it quite well, and increased their lead by two over three minutes. Since they played better, more accurately and more straightforward than their opponents, at the beginning of the 41st minute the bloe-whites of the capital had to call a timeout (20-16). This broke the momentum of ours a bit, MTK got closer, but after Attila Vágó invited his players to the sideline for the second time, we produced a 3-0 run, So it seemed to be decided ten minutes before the final whistle (25-20). Of course, the guests didn't give up either, but despite coming up for two goals again, Kohász always had someone who helped out when it was necessary. With today's victory ours ended up in the top eight teams of the Hungarian Cup.
