„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
Easily into the next round
With a very smooth, 45-12 victory against Ajka our academy's adult team qualified for the fourth round of the Hungarian Cup.
Dunaújváros Kohász Kézilabda Akadémia played as guests of Ajka in the 3rd round of the Hungarian Cup tonight, and our team's goal could not be anything else but a confident victory that would mean that DKKA gets into the next round.
The match in Zalaszentgrót started in this spirit, our handball players tried to execute their attacks quickly, and although there were some mistakes, they managed to score five times in the first seven minutes, while the team from Ajka could only find the way into our net once (1-5). A home time-out came quickly, but it didn't help much as the hosts were still unable to score, in the 15th minute ten goals divided the two teams. Ajka scored again at 1-14 in the 21st minute, and then did it twice more while DKKA players were suspended but we didn't have to worry, because at the break the scoreboard showed a more than comfortable 20-5 lead for Dunaújváros, while ten of our players had a mark already beside their names on the scoresheet
Túl sok kérdés nem maradt nyitva fordulás után, melyet a tetemes előny tudatában is igyekeztek komolyan venni kézilabdázóink, s továbbra is nagy elánnal támadták ellenfelük kapuját. Ahogy az első felvonásban, úgy a másodikban is óriási volt a különbség a csapatok között, s hiába tett meg mindent a hazai csapat a tisztes helytállásért, együttesünk, könnyedén növelte előnyét, s végül nagyon sima, 45-12-es győzelemmel jutott be a Magyar Kupa negyedik fordulójába.
There were not too many questions left open after switching sides, our handball players tried to take the match seriously, even though they had a big lead, and continued to attack their opponents' goal with great energy. As in the first half, the difference between the teams was huge in the second half as well, and despite the home team did their best at least to keep the gap, our team easily increased their lead and with their smooth 45-12 victory they qualified for the fourth round of the Hungarian Cup.
