„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
Defeat on the Balaton shore
Our players did not play well neither in attack nor in defence at the home of NEKA, so we finished the Balatonboglár trip without a point.
Our academy's adult team played as guests of NEKA tonight, who were on the bottom of the league table before the match, and although our team were the favourites, the hosts could not be taken lightly, as they stole a point from our handball players in the latest clash between the two teams in Rácalmás.
NEKA's youngsters started the match better this time too, with Kazai answering their first two goals after just over five minutes, but this was followed by another home double, and the hosts led 4-1 in the seventh minute. The continuation of the game did not go well either, despite Szalai scored, the next two goals and Tamás Rapatyi had to call a time-out in the 11th minute (6-2). During the short break, the team seemed to have settled down, as they won the next six minutes 4-1, but even though they were only one down in the 19th minute, in the attack mistakes came again, which were always avenged by the hosts,so in the 22nd minute we were 4 behind again and NEKA was already leading by five not long before the half-time break. Thanks to Farkas and Kazai we managed to come closer, but the Balatonboglár team could go into the half-time break much more satisfied (14-11).
There was a lot to improve for the second half, but this part of the game did not start the way we would have liked either. Szalai's hit two goals, but the defense did not work at all, and the home team punished this relentlessly. After 16-13 the home team scored four goals in a row ang got away from our team (20-13). After the compulsory time-out, Szalai, Agócs and Kazai managed to cut our disadvantage a bit, but by the 50th minute we were still five goals down (24-19). Our team tried to push the game to the final part of the game, and once we came up to three, but we could not get any further, and suffered a surprising, but well-deserved defeat.

2017. Nov. 19.Our photo crew has been trying to do their best to immortalize the best moments of DKKA's home games. This time they got a nice present for their persistent work, they could attend to the weekend match of men's handball team, Pick Szeged against the spanish record champion, Barcelona. Of course they needed to watch the game through the objective. The guests of Dunaújváros were nice guests at least they brought some luck, as the home team could defeat the Spaniards for the first time ever since 2008, and this means, they are still in a good position in the group 'A' of EHF Champions League.
