„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
Nikolett Sallai will also join our team next year
Our player squad for next season is almost complete,
We have recently made several announcements for our fans. As is the case with most teams, the first to be revealed was the identity of the players extending their contracts. This was no different for DKKA, as beside our captain, Babett Szalai, also Rebeka Arany, Panna Borgyos, Viktória Nick and Gabriella Matucza decided to extend their contracts. Of course Viktória Oguntoye, Beatrix Krupják-Molnár, Petra Horváth and Petra Lakatos, who already had a contract for the upcoming season, also remained in the squad. Our academy players Alexandra Agócs, Dorina Bartók and Petra Gajdos have already shown this season that the team management can count on their good performances, but the door is open for futher academy players to join the adult team, and there are several players in our youth team who could get the chance to debut with our adult team head coach next season.
At the same time, the reinforcements, the introduction of arriving players, have also started. It turned out that Fruzsina Bouti, who has already strengthened the Dunaújváros Kohász Handball Academy for three seasons between 2017 and 2020, will return to our club. The playmaker will help our team with her agile solutions and tricky passes during the 2023/2024 season. The comeback of Alexa Wéninger, who defended the goal of NEKA this year was also revealed, she will be back in DKKA's goal with a great statistic. We have also managed to sign two players from Érd, Sára Paróczy as a substitute, while Zsófi Csáki is basically a left winger, but she can play in practically any inside position, and Véda Kovács, who joins our adult team as a talented youngster, is also a reinforcement in the left wing position. We recently reported that the right side of our team is also getting stronger, with both Anna Horváth from Szombathely and Polish international Małgorzata Trawczyńska coming in at positions where reinforcement was necessary; the former player is expected to perform well on the right wing, while the latter is expected to play as a right-back.
Our latest arrival is Nikolett Sallai. The young left winger leaves the MTK to join our squad. A fast and agile player is much needed, as her main task will be to replace Anita Kazai, who will leave our team after seven years at the end of the season.
Sallai Nikolett signed for the next season
It has already been announced that beside Anita also Gabrijela Bartulovic, Johanna Farkas, Kata Farkas, Luca Poczetnyik and Saskia Weisheitel is also leaving,
With this, our squad for next season is almost complete, we still have to announce only one new arrival to our fans, and we will be able to make that announcement soon. What is certain is that we will have a young and talented team next year. We welcome our new players and wish them a successful integration! Hajrá Kohász!!
