A nyár utolsó felkészülési meccsén lép pályára a DKKA felnőtt együttese.
Hamarosan elrajtol a felnőtt női kézilabda bajnokság. Szalai Babették azonban egy utolsó erőpróbán vesznek részt, ugyanis Szobathelyre utaznak, hogy összemérjék erejüket az első osztályba frissen felkerülő SZKKA csapatával. A mérkőzés keretbe foglalja a DKKA felkészülési találkozóit, hiszen a lányaink alig több, mint egy hónappal ezelőtt, július 19-én ugyancsak a szombathelyiek ellen játszották a nyár első edzőmérkőzését. Akkor egy kiélezett harc után 25-24-re a mieink nyertek. Ezidáig felnőtt csapatunk összesen 10 mérkőzést játszott a nyár folyamán, 6 győzelem mellett 1 döntetlen és 3 vereség a mérlegük, legutoljára az érdi négycsapatos tornáról térhettek haza ezüstéremmel.
