Youth matches suspended
No matches for the youngsters for two weeks at least.
Due to the third wave of the coronavirus epidemic, the Professional and Competition Committee of the Hungarian Handball Association (MKSZ) decided that all contests the youth championships organized by MKSZ will be suspended for the period between 2nd and 15th March. MKSZ recommends that the youth teams hold their trainings online until March 15, 2021, in order to avoid further infections.
Matches in adult championships and cup series, as well as international events organized by MKSZ (adult and youth men's and women's national team training camps, matches) may take place in strict compliance with the law and the COVID protocols of MKSZ and the International and European Handball Associations (IHF, EHF).
The Hungarian Handball Association will make a decision on the possible resumption of the junior championships after March 15, 2021, with the continuous monitoring and knowledge of the coronavirus situation and the legislation in force.
