„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
They are professionals
Three young players have signed a long-term contract with our team.
Two of them, Gabriella Matucza and Eszter Pál, do not need to be introduced to our well-informed fans, as both are Academists of DKKA, Gabriella joined in 2014, while Eszter has been bouncing the ball at our association since 2016. Both of them were introduced among the adults this year, beside to the League Cup, they also playing time in NB I from Attila Vágó.
There is an excellent opportunity for our candidate, as next to Saskia Weisheitel and Nick Viktória they are counting on her in the post, so a serious challenge awaits her.
- I chose DKKA in the long run because on the one hand I grew up here and on the other hand to gain trust by an NB I team is a huge milestone in my life and career. Due to my age, I want to learn as much as possible from more routine players and become a standard player in the team over time. I am given every opportunity in Dunaújváros for this. I want to develop further in everything and become a more complex player.
Matucza Gabriella has undergone a serious development process this season.
Eszter, a.k.a. Gigi, also became a mature player in Dunaújváros and she was the real leader of our youth teams in the field of goal scoring.
- I have been a player of this club for five years, just like Gabi, I grew up here and I got opportunity to play in the first division here. During the spring I already gained some playing time in the NB I and in the League Cup. I see and feel that the management trusts me, they count on my work, I am giving everything to earn their trust! The common work might only be hindered by a further stage in my studies, but in the meantime, hajrá Kohász!
Eszter Pál has achieved remarkable results even at the youth level.
However, in addition to the old faces, we can also report a newcomer. Laura Nemes, who is celebrating her 19th birthday today, is moving from Mosonmagyaróvár to our city, but she has also previously been developing in Kozármisleny and in Siófok. She is an universal player who can be of great help, especially to our youngsters, but he also she is on the threshold to join the first team of DKKA.
- I saw the Dunaújváros team as a very good opportunity, after the trial there was no question that I would choose them. I’m a playmaker and a shooter in the first place, though there were places where I had a role on the side of the court. I am looking forward to benefit from my dynamism and speed while playing. I hope to achieve my goals here and to become a stable player on the team.
With Laura Nemes, our team is enriched with an agile young player who can be deployed in several positions.
Our club has a long-term, three-year contract with all the three players. Of course, we are very happy with their commitment, we wish them a lot of success!
