Continuing the NB I championship quest against fourth-placed Mosonmagyaróvár away from home, the Dunaújváros Kohász Handball Academy team played on Friday evening from six o'clock. Although the home team were the favorites, our team hoped to play a close, good match against their hosts.

Our handballers started well, and despite the home team's response to their early goal with two of their own, Arany scored twice while Szalai once, leading to a 3-5 scoreline in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, this didn't last long as the hosts used well two earliy suspensions of DKKA, also securing a 3-0 streak. However, Bouti's goal equalized (6-6). Our team managed to keep the pace with their opponents until 8-7, but Mosonmagyaróvár dominated from the 15th to the 25th minute with a 10-2 streak, leading to a 22-11 advantage at halftime.

Following the break, our team managed to keep the eleven-goal difference for nearly ten minutes, but after 27-16, it was again MKC's moment as they took control with a 6-0 streak, extinguishing any hope of narrowing the match (33-16). Unfortunately, the final minutes of the game held no excitement as Mosonmagyaróvár confidently maintained their lead, ultimately securing a 43-26 victory at home.
