„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
Good first 30 minutes, but a bad defeat
Unfortunately we could only keep up during the first half with our opponent, the Slovenian champion, RK Krim Ljubljana in this afternoon's friendly match.
We continued our tough run with another preparation match from 17.00. The team of László György could not count with Orsolya Monori, Ildikó Erdősi and Camila Micijevic, but despite this we started the game well, two away goals were followed by four home goals. The opponent however quickly changed their speed and levelled the game. The tough defending of the opponent caused difficulties for us, and our mistakes were punished immediately in forms of fast breaks. After 20 minutes 8-12 stayed on the scoreboard. We managed to strengthen our back formation that helped to get closer to Ljubljana. Only one goal separated the team at halftime (13-14).
The second half did not start well for us, quickly they had a 4-0 run. Although László György tried to rotate the team to play different combinations, the Slovenian Champions League team could increase the lead and got a decent victory in the Arena today. The two teams will have another clash on Saturday from 11.00.
