„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
Back on track
After last week's bad performance we managed to correct the key points in our game which meant that we got our first victory in our second home, Szekszárd.
The girls were very nervous and it was visible at the start since two big chances were missed in two minutes. 5th minute strike from Grosch was enough for levelling the score. The first period of the match was balanced until our other winger Molnár put us forward with two nice goals (6-3). Opponent's coach called a timeout not much after, which boosted the visitors. So in the 23rd minute György László put down his card to the jury's desk (9-8). In the final few minutes of the game DKKA managed to get away from its opponent again, which resulted a 4 goal difference for the halftime (14-10).
The second part of the game started better for us, as we managed to increase our lead (17-12), also one of the best players of Kisvárda, Vesna Milanovic-Litre got her 3rd suspension of the game, which resulted an immediate red card. It did not mean for a second that they gave it up, for the 40th minute the difference dropped to three goals, as the substitute goalkeeper, Lajtos showed some skills in the goal. (18-15). Strikes from Kazai and Ferenczy came good for Kohász, but a few minutes later only two goals separated the two sides once again (20-18). Our concentration started to decline, so another timeout was expected to boost the girls. Many missed chances kept Kisvárda in the game at this time. Bakó invited theirs to the sideline in the 55th minute. Luckily the opponent had also problems with putting the ball into the net. After seven goalless minute Siksa scored, but Triscsuk's counter on the other side decided the fate of the two points. Our youngster, Mihály Petra crowned the performance when just two minutes were left. Kohász gathered both points and got the seventh position on the league table.
