„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
A nerve-wracking defeat
Scored 35 goals, yet zero points agatinst Vác.
We continued the league with a home game against Váci NKSE. Both teams had the same amount of points before the game, so the supporters expected a huge clash.
The teams did not try to be gentle with the opponent at the beginning of the game, as in the third minute already the score was 4-4. We started to make some mistakes in attack, and although Csapó defended the goal well, the visitors got away very quickly. This time Kohász could get the upper hand and with the goals of Ferenczy and Molnár DKKA equalized (7-7).
A timeout from Szilágyi Zoltán aimed to help the away team, yet Kohász could get the lead. The teams were neck to neck and the red-whites also survived a double suspension as well, but we could not be happy with our lead so long, as another suspension broke our rhythm. Vác turned the game and they did not go to the break with a 3 goal-lead, because Csapó saved their seven-meter-throw in after the time ran out (15-17).
Our defending needed to be improved for the second half. The Kohász girls started the second half well; while they got just one goal, on the other side they scored four. The away timeout did not seem to help as Csapó with her saves, Triscsuk with her goals contributed to the game from the home side (23-20). Sirián's two suspensions did not come good, Vác could come back to the game and turn the score (27-28).
After a missed chance György László needed to call a timeout. In attack the things got better, but in defending the concentration lacked (31-33). Vác had a "reply" to all the Kohász goals, even though Kazai brought our teams closer, the opponent used the remaining time well and with a one-goal-victory they got two points as well.
