„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
No chance on our second clash
DKKA could not make it difficult for Siófok tonight.
After 22 hours of the final whistle of the match, where DKKA got a spectacular win in Érd, we needed to play another away game in Siófok. The odds were not on our favour, but we hoped that our girls could find some spare energy that would lead to a good game.
No complains about the start, DKKA scored three within just four minutes and got a simple goal only. But the rest of the game did not turn out well for the Kohász girls. The hosts equalized quickly, and after 10 minutes they were already leading by two goals. The good defending and Szikora Melinda at the goal caused problems for our attackers and a 4-0 run made our situation worse. Szekerczés tried to bring our team closer from penalty shots, yet SKC could increase their lead. 18-10 stayed on the scoreboard at halftime.
After switching sides with the goals of Szalai and Szekerczés we kept the difference, but after 20-12 the team visibly run out of pace and dynamism. Lots of technical errors, bad shots, which were punished by the very agile players of Siófok. Scoring 5 in a row the difference grew above 10 goals. György László called another timeout at 27-13, but we simply did not have the energy neither in attack nor in defending to come closer to the opponent. Siófok got an easy win at the end with a final score of 35-19
