„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
Let's introduce to you Boglárka Sziráki
She sees her contract with DKKA as a professional step forward and will do her best to win in Dunaújváros as well!
As we recently reported, we have strengthened our player base for the 2020/2021 season with seven handballers, and in our weekly updated series, we are trying to introduce them to the supporters of our team. The line is started by Boglárka Sziráki, who was able to start his career in NB I at the age of sixteen, upon asking her she told us that she also considers learning to be extremely important in addition to sports.
- Please introduce yourself in a few sentences! Tell us a little about your career so far!
- I started playing handball at Tápiószele at Euronovex USE team at the age of six, and I decided quite early that I had higher goals in this sport. I was in Vác, then at MTK, then I signed for Szent István SE, and from there I come to Dunaújváros. As a child, I said to myself that I want to become a world champion in handball. So far I am really proud of the fact that I was the top scorer in both the regional team and the youth league, but now my cherished plan is to wear the dress of the national team.
- What helped you choose DKKA for your next team?
- I definitely consider it a professional step forward to be able to prove for Dunaújváros. It was mostly the professional aspect that helped me make my decision, I think they can largely contribute to my development here, and it can be a good springboard for me to achieve my goals.
- Do you know any of your future teammates?
- Yes, I know several of them. For example Bianka Barján and I were teammates in Váci NKSE, but I also met a lot of players of my age on the field as opponents. I would like to highlight that with Csenge Braun we have a special background since we were children, because we played like a lot against each other.
- How shall we imagine your days in this new situation?
- Obviously to stay at home is a difficult situation in the life of a handballer, so now, of course, training and learning are the top priorities. Being in the countryside, I do quite a bit of cycling and do my university-related work from morning to night because the requirement is terribly high. Of course I try to pay attention to the relaxation as well, I read a lot and fatten up the family with my homemade cakes, but I spend a lot of time outdoors because I also really like to take photos. Of course, I pay attention to the schedule because I need something that motivates me both in learning and in training even though we are stuck between the four walls due to the epidemic situation.
- In addition to sports, learning is also important to you. Can you tell us a little bit about this?
- Of course! I’m a second year student in Economics and Management at Milton Friedman University, I chose the Marketing specialisation this semester, and I really like this major, I think I made the right choice. In addition to sports, I consider learning to be important, and later I would like to use the acquired knowledge, either within the framework of sports or in business.
- What do you expect from yourself and the team next season?
- I definitely trust that by forming into a real team, we will end up in a stable midfield, of course showing some unexpected victories. I expect from myself, first of all, to become a stable member of the club, I want to integrate and to find a common voice with the coach and the team as soon as possible, so that will make the teamwork very effective on the court as well.
- What do you think is your real strength on the field?
- By all means, I consider as my strengths that I am a fast player, and I can come up with tough defending. Besides this - as a playmaker - I need to have a key role in the preparation of attacks. I am always eager to win is, if there is a match, I will do my best to gain the victory, and that is a great virtue in sports.
