„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
Professional staff unchanged
Attila Vágó remains in charge as the head coach of our adult team.
As the end of the season is drawing near, contract extensions are being announced as well. Although there are three weeks left from the contest in the K&H Liga, DKKA also started the preparation, as for coming to an agreement with players and professional staff who will be members of our team in the 2021/2022 season as well. We are glad to announce in the first place that the lineup of the staff members working beside our adult team will be the same in the upcoming season as well. The work of Attila Vágó, head coach will be assisted by Ágnes Győri, goalkeepers' coach and Tibor Horváth, leading fitness coach. Composition of medical team and technical team remains unchanged,
Attila Vágó: – I am very happy to be able to continue the work we have started and it is an honor for me that the management sees the efforts in what we have been doing with the team during the past one year. We managed to agree very quickly on the different terms, because our views both on life in general and on handball as well are the same, and I am confident that the next two years will be as successful as the period we left behind. I was confident that we will be able to extend with key players, and we can level up in the first year of the two years, and then we will be able to see the benefits of the work done. It is our aim to stabilize our place among mid-table teams in the next season, and then in the second year we may be able to fight for bigger goals. This year has been very difficult, it is not easy to talk about the profession, because a lot has happened, life has overwritten our calculations quite many times, the most important thing was to always be able to adapt to the changed circumstances, but I think for springtime the team started to look like a real community and they started to achieve the goals in front of them. Next season, we need to stabilize ourselves, our place in the league, we need to become more confident, and we need to perform more balanced in the long run.
Ágnes Győri : – It looks like we can work well with Attila Vágó, our work is forward-looking and I am hundred percent sure we can continue to do so. The goalkeeper post is very important everywhere, usually we are the last bastions and in this we always try to find the best, the one who is in the best shape. My goal for next season will be to make our cooperation with our young goalkeepers even more stable, they can also save much more efficient, because once in a while they are already capable of outstanding performance, but this should be maintained much more permanently.
