„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
We stood a chance only for 30 minutes
DKKA did well in the first half, but in the end we suffered an eight-goal defeat as the guests of DVSC.
Adult team of our Academy played their season closing in Debrecen, at the home of DVSC, which resided in the third place in the table. The odds were on the favour of the hosts, but ours was confident that they would be able to play a good match with their opponent with disciplined, effective play.
Maybe because of the long journey, our playrs started the game quite bad, 4 minutes into the game the score was 5-1 alredy. After the timeout reqest of our coach we did a 5-1 run and got our opponent. There was a longer goalless period in the middle of the half for us, but before the break we cought DVSC again, so the teams went into the dressing rooms with the home team leading by a single goal only (17-16).
The second half did not start well for us, the difference quickly grew to 4. We simply were unableto break the defence of DVSC. For the middle of the half the outcome of the mathc was already decided (28-19). No excitement remained for the end, Debrecen kept the points home after getting a comfortable 8 -goal victory.
