„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
Away win against county rival!
Despite starting the game with moderate success, our team caugt up with the opponent and turned the game.
Anothher two key players of our first team, Anita Bulath and Panna Borgyos could not be ready to play in Székesferérvár today.
Although we started tough in defending, in attack our team simply could not deliver, and the home team used it with a 4-0 run. Gréta Horváth broke the ice, her and Farkas helped a lot to catch the opponent at 5-5. The home side could keep its lead this time, they even got away by two, but before the end of the half we turned the score (10-12).
At the beginning of the second half Johanna Farkas turned out to be a great leader, as she scored three in a row for us. Wéninger saved Triscsuk's penalty and after a score from our captain, Szalai, we had a three-goal-lead (13-16). A 5-0 rush from ours seemed to decide the outcome of the game (14-21), but the home team did not want to give up easily, this time they scored three goals one after the other (17-21). Ours started to play quite tactically and wanted to keep the difference between the teams. They could even increase their lead, but the final minutes - when the points were already in the pocket - turned out in favour of the opponent. At the end it was a comfortable 29-26 victory for us that was very important at this stage of the league.
