„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
No surprises
Although DKKA kept the pace for a long time with the opponent, mostly due to a bad 8 minutes at the end of the first half, they lost against DVSC.
In Debrecen, at the home of DVSC, who won last year's bronze medal and is currently in third place, the adult team of our academy continued the league fights from five o'clock this afternoon.
The big rush didn't end there, and although Bartulovic saved the second seven-meter throw in the 13th minute, but the French international, Joelle on the other side also stopped one, at this time our team failed to take the lead (9-9). Due to the fast pace, both sides started to make mistakes, but the battle was still enjoyable, in which, despite DVSC going ahead by two, Kohász equalized again with the goals of Farkas and Weisheitel (12-12). After Nick's second exclusion "Loki" led again by two. In the final 10 minutes of the half DVSC mercilessly took advantage of Kohász's mistakes in the attack, they scored easy goals one after the iother and got away from our team. The break did not look good as the scoreboard showed a 22-14 home lead.
After the half-time, our team had to improve mainly in attacks and getting reorganized for the opponent's counters, but the hosts did not let go of control and confidently maintained their eight-nine-goal advantage until the middle of the half (30-22). Tamás Rapatyi invited his players to himself again in the 46th minute in hope for a closer game. This did not help unfortunately, as towards the end of the half a similar scenario took place again as at the end of the first half; Debrecen started to gradually increase its advantage, and in the last six minutes created a 6-0 run to achieve a 40-27 domestic success.
