„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
Defeat on the final game of 2022
Despite the good 25 minutes, we comitted too many unforced errors to have even a slight chance against Vác
We ended the year with an away game in Vác. It was key to show something similar to the weekend's match in defending to get a point or even points. We started great, Vác did not have much shooting opportunities in the first five minutes, while Kazai and Borgyos scored. The home team got more concentrated, they turned the game after 2-4. Tamás Rapatyi inited the girls to the sideline in the 16th minute.
After an almost 8-minute-long goalless period, Krupják-Molnár found the net and thanks to the futher hits of Johanna Farkas and Rebeka Arany we levelled the game (8-8). In the 27th minute 10-10 was on the scoreboard, but the home team used well the bad looking closure of the half from our side; even being a player down, they scored goals one after the other, and could march into the dressing room with a 3-goal-lead (15-12).
The first goal in the second half was scored by us, but we did not have much more joy in it. As after 7 minutes Vác was already leading by five (20-15). They used our mistakes mercilessly. The girls looked confused, and the timeouts did not help either, after 14-18 with another 3-0 run Vác decidet the fate of the points. But what even our supporters did not expect, that a total meltdown followed, the home team increased their lead without too much efforts and at the end they knocked out our team with a final score of 34-23.
