„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
An easy win
It was a confortable win for DKKA against low-keyed Békéscsaba tonight.
We hosted the backmarker team from the South-Eastern part of Hungary in the next round of K&H League. Although the odds were to our favor, Békéscsaba already managed to play tricks on us in the Hungarian Cup. So weekend's game will give a perfect opportunity for going back at them.
With these thoughts in mind we started the game. Tough defence and nice counter attacks. In the sixth minute 5-1 stood on the scoreboard, so the coach of the opponent, Roland Horváth needed to call a timeout. This did not help them much, as Kohász increased their lead and about halfway of the first period it was clear that the opponent cannot get any points from Dunaújváros (11-2). The ten goal difference seemed to serve as a wake-up call for the visitors and they hit the net of Katarina Tomasevic who performed good early in the game. In attack Kovács, Micijevic and Klujber kept the difference between the teams (16-6). While having such a big lead, as halftime was drawing near it was hard to concentrate as much as at the beginning, our attacks were not so effective, so the oppontent could get closer by three goals for the half (20-11).
In the second half we did not want to give any false hopes for Békéscsba, in five minutes on the scoreboard DKKA had double the score of the opponent (24-12). At this stage the match become a good training opportunity and László György gave the chance to all his players. Everybody wanted a part of this victory. The substitutes gave as much as they can to impress the professional management, they further increased the lead (30-17). The visitors had some nice moments at the end of the match but it was not enough, it is safe to say there was a class-division between the teams today. Kohász gained an easy win and kept his 5th position on the league table being one point behind the 4th Siófok, but they have an extra game played compared to us.
László György: - The quality of defence and the quick counter attacks decided the game. We focused much in attack too. In parts of the game the girls played fabolously. But we should not forget, it was a must win match for us.
Roland Horváth: - Plenty of injuries at our side we arrived with just ten players plus two goalies to Dunaújváros. We were better in the second half than in the first one, but that was enough only for such a result.
