Kohász gears up for its last home match

Our adult team bids farewell to its home supporters with a match against MTK on Saturday afternoon at five o'clock.

The last match didn't go as we hoped, as we could only make it difficult for the hosts, Mosonmagyaróvár, for just over fifteen minutes, who then played faster and more accurately to secure a confident victory over our team. In the nearly one week since then, the team members have once again embarked on hard work, as they face another challenge on Saturday, hosting MTK's team in our last home match of the 2023/2024 season at five o'clock.

The Budapest team has played twenty matches so far this season, two less than ours, with seven wins, three draws, and ten losses, trailing our adult team by one point in eighth place on the table. Unfortunately, the clash between the two Budapest teams didn't bring much struggle, as the hosts secured a 35-24 victory throughout. Therefore, our team has something to prove, as they aim to bid farewell to their fans with a beautiful victory, revealed coach Roland Virág before the match.

"While we managed to solve some tasks, the match against Mosonmagyaróvár didn't go as planned. We were not happy with the significant defeat, but we were able to practice a few elements that we would like to use in the future. There are several former members of Dunaújváros currently in MTK, so you could say it's a matter of prestige, especially given the fact that we suffered an unexpectedly huge defeat in the capital. Now we want to forget about that failure, the girls are preparing very well, they really want success, so we warmly welcome all supporters.
