The competition notice has been announced

The Professional and Competition Committee of the Hungarian Handball Association and the NB I Handball League have accepted the competition announcements for the adult NB I championships of the 2021/2022 season

14-14 teams will take part in the tournaments. The league competition system is unchanged, in the women's NB I round robin system, the teams play back and forth, a total of 26 rounds, after which the final result is formed. An important change is that the registration of foreign national handball licenses is now subject to the same conditions valid for Hungarian citizens, so the rule in NB I that up to four foreign players in the women's league registering any new international player to the squad is subject to a separate fee, will be abolished.  This was necessary for the protection of Hungarian players, but recently the principle has prevailed that talented Hungarian handball players have now regular access to games in clubs that match their knowledge, so in this kind of became self-regulating.

A bajnokságok nevezési határideje 2021. július 15., a bajnoki sorsolást 2021. július 22-én tartja az MKSZ. Az 1. forduló időpontja 2021. szeptember 12., azaz a csapatoknak ezzel a nappal bezárólag kell lejátszaniuk az 1. forduló mérkőzéseit.

The deadline for applying for the championships is July 15, 2021, and the championship draw will be held on July 22, 2021 by MKSZ. The first round is scheduled for September 12, 2021, meaning teams must play their season-openers by that date.
