„ACÉL A SZÍV!”
The squad stays together
We are pleased to announce that the management of our academy has been in successful negotiations with members of this year’s player frame recently.
The first phase of developing our academy’s adult players' framework for next season will always be the consultation with the players currently part of the team. Luckily, the negotiations went great, and although there will be fewer departures, and next year a real icon retires, we still can't talk about bigg changes in the case of DKKA; we can say with confidence that the core of our team will remain together.
In connection with next year's squad, it has already been revealed that Panna Borgyos will "bounce the ball" here, next to her joins from DVSC Rebeka Arany and Luca Poczetnyik following the agreement of the two red and white teams.
Our team captain Babett Szalai, who is starting her eighth season with our team, has also extended her contract, and we can also count on the routine of our left-wing player, Anita Kazai, who is a member of our adult team since 2017. Beatrix Krupják-Molnár and Viktória Nick will also remain, they can be considered standard citizens of Dunaújváros, as they joined DKKA in 2013 and 2015 as academists.
Our academy has recently placed great emphasis on retaining homegrown players, Neszta Fodor, Gabriella Matucza and Cecília Takács still have a valid contract at DKKA.
Buy one good goalkeeper, they say. Well, our team has several excellent net guards and this will remain the case next year, as Gabrijela Bartulović and Alexa Wéninger will remain in the association for the 2022/23 season.
We can also count with Viktória Kukucska and our German pivot, Saskia Weisheitel, and it is a great pleasure that our association signed the extremely talented young manager Johanna Farkas after last year's loan.
Unfortunately, the moment has also come, Anita Bulath's three-decade-long career as a player comes to an end. But this is not a farewell, only a change, Buli, who is tied to Dunaújváros with a thousand roots, will continue to work at our Academy as a professional director in the future, as previously announced.
However, two of our legions, Jana Šustková from the Czech Republic and Dominika Mrmolja from Slovenia, will leave the association, also Petra Hlogyik, Gréta Horváth and Tímea Polics will not be part of our team either. Thank you very much for their play and help, we wish them a lot of success in the future.
All in all, it can be said that most of our players will be part of the team in the future as well, no less than thirteen players remains in Dunaújváros from the current season's player frame. More news about the further reinforcements for the 2022/23 season will be announced to our supporters soon.
