1998 után másodszorra nyerte meg a női kézilabda EHF-kupát a Dunaújváros csapata, a trófeát hatodszor szerezte meg magyar gárda, ez az újvárosiak harmadik ötödik nemzetközi kupasikere, amelyből a német Metzingen ellen Szalai Babett mindkét meccsen három góllal vette ki részét - őt kapcsoltuk.
